This online system is
intended for starting all accounts with a notice of 24 hours or more. If
service is needed on the same day, you must call or stop by our office before
1 pm on the desired start date of service to have the service started.

Please read the information below regarding starting your new residential account.
- There is a service fee of $30 to begin service.
- New residential customers must also pay a service deposit in the amount of $40. This service deposit will be applied to the final bill at the close of the account.
- The service fee and deposit can be billed on your first billing at your request.
- It can take up to 6 weeks to receive your first bill. If you do not receive a bill, please contact the office. You will be responsible for payment of the services.
- Water connections are scheduled for completion between 8 am and 4 pm. If you need to change your date of service you must contact us 24 hours prior to the original scheduled date.
- The City of McKinney bills every month. Please pay close attention to the due date, as a 10% late fee will be assessed if payments are not received by 5 pm on the due date.
- You will be billed for water, sewer, sanitation (garbage), drainage, and any miscellaneous charges, i.e. special trash charges and rereads.
- Contact I.E.S.I. at 469-452-8000 for any questions concerning your sanitation (garbage).
