intended for starting all accounts with a notice of 24 hours or more. If
service is needed on the same day, you must call or stop by our office before
1 pm on the desired start date to have the services started.

Please read the information below regarding starting your new commercial account.
- There is a service fee of $30 to begin service.
- Customers must also pay a deposit that will be calculated at the time the request is processed in the office. The minimum commercial deposit is $100.
- It can take up to 6 weeks to receive your first bill. If you do not receive a bill, please contact our office at 972-547-7550. You will be responsible for payment of the service.
- Water connections are scheduled for completion between 8 am and 4 pm If you must change the date for service, you must contact us 24 hours prior to the original scheduled date.
- The City of McKinney bills every month. Please pay special attention to the due dates as there is a 10% late fee assessed if payments are not received by 5 pm on the due date.
- The services billed for are water, sanitation (garbage), drainage, and any miscellaneous fees.
