Sign Up For Bank Draft
Paying your utility bill is easier than ever, with Automatic Bank Drafting! Here’s how it works:
- Fill out the authorization form for a Bank Draft, and return it with your next payment along with a cancelled check or photocopy of a voided check.
- We will set up Automatic Bank Drafting with the financial institution of your choice.
- Once your account has been established, we will notify you.
- You will continue to receive a monthly water bill, which will indicate a "due date." Your bank draft could take up to 30 days to become effective. (No drafting will occur on weekends or holidays.)
- Please be sure to maintain sufficient funds in your account to cover the automatic withdrawal each month. If your automatic draft is returned for insufficient funds, you will be assessed a $25 NSF fee. You could be denied the use of the Bank Drafting if the City of McKinney
receives your draft back 3 times.
If you decide to cancel your Automatic Bank Draft, please notify our office 30 days prior to cancellation.
